I'll be, whoever you make me out to be.....

Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us... In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain......and an athlete......and a basket case......a princess......and a criminal...
Does that answer your question?... Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club

-John Bender's sense or may i say attitude towards style inspires me as much as the movie has in my life. I believe that all human beings are a bit...mental.....I just tipped the average scale

You can look Balmazing....But It Will Cost You

Soo havent made an appernce for a while, sorry about that. Ive just been working with a million projects at the same time, desperate to stud shred and black items of clothing I've been caught up with revision for my may exams. Yes, i that's like two months away, but believe me theirs allot to cover in such a short time. What helps me blow of steam is reading all your blogs and the sweet comments left on mine. I have however promised to post a series of outfits in the up and coming week when i go home (sorry sis but your going to have to bair with me). Now not to my surprise is the ever coveted Balmain collection sold out faster than a speeding bullet. I don't think i could afford the entire outfit...but i was prepared to cash out for that jacket god dammit!!

A Black Feather caught in a Sunrise, an unexpected beauty has always been the best suprise

Thank god for my quick computer skills HU!!! Fixed it finally and now, hopefully, there shouldn't be anymore problems. Pictured above is my new top/dress from Zara, i know officially believe in love cuz one i saw it....i knew it was just meant to be.
Just tried this white blazer on, but ive been trying to hunt one down for ages. I wont i white over sized blazer in a more luxurious silk material, which is a nice female touch to a classy masculine garment.
I'll be paring this top/dress up with black knee high gladiator sandals and if its cool a nice leather jacket ontop of it.
I will be honest i am really tired....but before i go, i kind of feel that im stuck in a rut and therefore propose that you guys get to request a look that i have to embody for 1 week!
And if i love it...well than you just might be in for a little treat!!
Exited...I AM cuz i want to hear all the crazy ideas you guys have, art, idols cartoons anything (Hint hint go anime i really want to try the harajuku look out, BABY DOLL LOLITA ANYONE?)

So sorry for being so absent, but like a said before I really have to get back into the zone of studying (I cannot remember the last time I went out!!) So I guess it’s back to my good old ways of focusing my life on shopping, fashion, Reading books on philosophy, falling asleep at 5:am with Kurt Screaming in one ear a calm heartbeat in the other, and ofcours absolutely no-social contact with the external world. I would'nt call myself a loner; I’d just say I prefer my own company over others.

My only exception would probably my amazing legal buddies at Uni (hahaha I might be sucking up to you guys, knowing that a few of you actually waste valuable time reading my blog.
So today I’ve devoted this post to a quick summary of what I’ve been coveting all week. Other than phone calls from random guys I’ve given my number to, there is the Amazing Alexander Wang Dress that’s been Worn by pretty much everyone equally as amazing.
I’ve found Turquoise my fave colour this season and have already purchased a turquoise Bandage skirt from Topshop which I’ll try to get around showing you guys.
Then of course there is The Sartorialist. I’m so ashamed for not spending time following Fashion week!! I mean the only shows I’ve viewed are Balmain Balenciaga, Chanel and some other random person and I kind of want to punish myself for this but you’re just so overwhelmed by the amazing artistry you just want to do the Art justice by devoting more than 5 minutes of your time clicking through a collection. So during Easter ill be displaying my favourite shows+commentary as I’ve yet to come across a blog that looks at fashion from a commercial point of view.

Here are a few of my fave Sartorialist Shots:

1. Now this first I find inspiring on the grounds the masculinity the pieces are created on and the comfortability her feminine grace brings to it. I also love the colour pallet; Navy blue has always been a favourite colour in my closet.
2. Well the look and the individual carrying speaks for itself don’t you agree? Emanuelle or how you spell her name, don’t really care, has been a constant inspiration for that uptight minimalist look. She seems to carry basic pieces with one distinctive (most of the time) well tailored coats paired up with statement heels. If I were to set a fashion tip into stone it that would be the one, you can never go wrong with this look.
3. This season its all about graphical legs(which I believe is heavily sparked by Gossip Girl) as showcased in Rodarte, Givenchy and McQueen. As pictured here the young Lady’s wearing a pair of amazing Alexander McQueen leggings and although I’de prefer the look highlight of neon colour somewhere (although I’m not the one to lecture for not wearing enough colour) I love the various patterns and textures, which evidently is the trick to carrying darker shades into an Avant-Garde setting of style.
4. A Last season’s favourite, Leather and fur and I must say if you really want to make a statement this summer, where just this out and watch as the heads turn.
5. Now I herd about this boyfriend jeans trend, that was later on picked up by Kate Holmes who then rolled her pants up (seems practical if there to long i guess?) and tadda, it made its way into fashion magazines....for some fucked up reason. I personally felt the look was well not that attractive to the extent of repetition, BUT, the trick of becoming a well renowned fashionista is to look at current trends, take what you like and INCORPORATE it into your current style. Don’t just copy and paste looks to yourself cuz you will just come across as trendy and personally....that’s not a good thing to be called. So this clever Lady actually did something clever and added a little touch of her own with an exposed textured leg, Bravo! (this fall I plan on doing the same but exposed through torn jeans, bringing that grunge look Kurt kicked off with stripped long-jons)
6. I nice basic look picked up with statement heels, see how easy it is to look chic?
7. Well sorry but the picture speaks for itself, she’s wearing Balmian for fuck sake of course she’s going to look great!
8. Not only is it the shot of colour that uplifted this basic look, but is the texture and pattern of the leggings as well. I’ve been doing this with my tie-dye leggings all month and yeah got three fashion photogs take my pic....so I guess I mist be doing something right
Now of course I don’t really give a crap (sorry about my language) about the commentary that Balmian didn’t diversify into no sources of inspiration for his latest collection. But I say stick with what you good at and that is ROCK N ROLL GLAM. (That skirt was what i had in mind while studding my Leather skirt, I Just Wished I had the time to finish it, or the will to do so. I love starting projects...but never ending them.

And whats a Rich hippie post without a guest appearance from the Cobra Chic Girls. I must Admit im looking to these girl more often for fashion inspiration than i am from Vogue Italy....whats become of me!!!
Alright enough of this I’ll see you guys later!

Wearing
Blazer - Topshop
Top - Iron Maiden The Tropper tee

THANK GOD, i was just about to give up and delet my blog!!!!! Things are finally looking okay on my laptop (apperantly my computer was the only one experiencing this bug) Lucky for you guys the page was fixed just in time for me to premier my new OH SO COOL Jacket.
I got it at H&M last Sunday and it's got such an amazing quality to it. From a distance it looks like a Denim Jacket designed to resemble the classic biker jacket. But when you get close enough you'll see that its actually leather ( or Faux Leather) washed in a nice light grey
blue tint. Im sorry but I've been creaming of this coat ever since.

I also had such an amazing time at Fashion Weekend with my friend Melissa and got to meet Emma Cooks assistant that gave me a little sneak peak into her new collection.
Anywho, ill dedicate a post to that....when i have time. Right now the most important thing in my life are my studies and i really got get back into the zone of that......bummer

Wearing:
Faux Leather(or is it denim) Jacket: H&M

For a long time, I’ve had both these girls as my Fashion Inspiration. The individuality of their style (although Nicole’s was arguably sparked by Rachel Zoe) have led me to constantly trace myself back to images of their looks saved on my iPhone(my handy fashion catalogue), just to keep me grounded as to how a true Fashionista carries themselves.

Ive had my Nicole and Mary-Kate fazes in fashion where i would only where what they've worn. Bugged eyed glasses and Emilio Pucci printed mini dresses, for that laid back Hippie Glamour Girl. Draped in nothing but a statement slouchy bag (Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag) and HeadBand to keep that frizzy hair intact. Heels intact, cuz we petite girls dont like to be walked all over and a fresh face to keep us forever young.

Then of cours there where the times where it was all about, Over sized cardi’s matched with an old flannel shirt that could both be paired with ankle clutching skinny jeans, both plain and thorn. The essential over sized bag to carry on the homeless look a step further as it practically carries all your junk (and an extra pair of flip flops to tend your aching feet after a long parade on 8inches). The messy hair should both be flaunted and hidden at times...if you really havent had time to was it through pairing it up with a over sized beanie or a more British gentleman approach with a bowler hat. Staggering heel in toe, as well as massive jewelry to bring an added lux to a Grungy Homeless look. The contrast is what makes this stand out the most.
My closet is usually divided into Two Halves, Rich Hippie and Luxurious Grunge. Spring and Summer are the obvious seasons to embrace that free movement while the chilly months of Autum and Winter brings about the incentive to wrap up in something more knitted.
Androgyny has appealed to me from the early years of Tomboy'ness and arguably is the result of my view on equality and the fact that someone else's taught of thing shouldn't cloud your own personal judgement. Ive never been a girly girl. I may wear a dress, but never in the grace of a young Lady, i may dress up in black most of the time but would often be accompanied by a shy exterior. either way i like to bounce of norms and predictable behaviour.....
Yet now a days, I’ve molded both looks together as The Rich Hippie look has become so L.A (and so boring, no thanks to Zoe) while The Olsen look is what most people try to COPY rather than interpritate inorder to feel “IN”.
So Lately its been all about The Grunge Hippie for me, there not necassarly sprung out of two different worlds as they so much in common. For example, thier both un-hyginic pervs in light of Hippies never shaving thier legs...and other places. While “Grungy Dudes” smell the pitts of their shirt and throw it over thier greasy unkept hair. I wont comment on my personal Hygien cuz frankly.....YOU WOULD BE UTTERLY DISGUSTED!
Then their is the political elements . Hippies protesting for basic Human Rights and how we are constantly being denied this at a daily basis, the evidence of this? World Peace still being a distant acid trip fantasy away.....

And then there are well Not Grungse, but more of angered musicians (I dont think that anyone grunge calls themselves grunge), broadcasting their riots through our television sets and radio’s. How the young are being suppressed by overworked Narks and our inability to speak, feel and express freely without being discriminated against. I’m drawn to the Seattle music scene mostly because this sound was derived out of a pit of economic depression, where high unemployment was active and people didn't have much to do other than...slack around? As well as the anger toward society and how where categorized in degrading stereotypes that follow us throughout life, limiting our ability to see and experience things they way they are.
At the end of the day im a Hippie at heart hoping that one day i will finally witness a civilized society....Because believe me, with the conflict going on (and we’ve turned a blind eye to most of them) there is no way we can call ourselves rational human beings. The harsh critic and brutal honesty often received by me is usually the result of my no tolerance for bullshit.
